Put together a Star Wars Holocomm Unit using a Mini Hologram Fan. I took it to a Convention with my ROTJ Boba Fett Cosplay and it was a instant hit!
Nice equipment
The team really pulled through! With a really short time frame, we got the fan delivered, the stand delivered and several images made into kick ass 3D models! Couldn't be happier!
I haven't managed to connect the phone app to the fan, as for some reason my phone never asks for the password for the wi-fi no matter what I try. However the memory card and memory card usb stick dongle that came with it were a very nice surprise and I've managed to put my files with the PC program onto the stick and then onto the device. Some oddities where a part of the shorter loop mp4's tend to either cut a bit out making the loop stuttery, or speed up the video, but if editing it to be a longer loop, it seems to work better. Overall, was cooler than I thought. Vibrant pixel animations seem to work the best :) The fan is kinda "loud" though. Not that I can hear it if I close the door in the room it's in, but if you intend to use it as a decoration next to your gaming setup like I did, it's definitely whirring away a good bit. But nothing you can hear through a good pair of headphones. Fun gadget for sure! (Oh and for EU buyers: The item has a U.S./Australia powerplug with flat pins, so be prepared... I had to buy a small part; "Type A to Type C" converter/adapter that you can attach to the flat pins to get the round ones to plug it in our EU sockets. Though it only cost 2.95€ in a local store.)

Holofex devices come with holograms however we can create something unique and personilised. If you want to experiment yourself our app will transcode and upload your own design to the device. Simply use a black background and a 3d image and the app will do the rest.

How are these Devices installed?
Holofex devices come with mounting screws to wallmount to the required area. Some devices like our HoloXG2 come with a desktop stand. You can purchase a HoloStand for a free standing device.
Can I use my own logo or image for a hologram?
Holofex devices come with a range of holograms and there are multiple options to purchase from our Holostore. You can create your own hologram and our app will transcode the image to create the hologram. We recommend a 3d image on a black background exported as an mp4 file.
Do I need a cover for my device?
A transparent cover is utilized if the device is in reach of people touching it. This cover is a safety measure however it does impact the quality of the holographic effect. If possible and can be placed in a safe environment we recommend not using the cover.
What is the difference between the models?
Holofex has a range of devices the main difference is the size of the unit and how many Led's the device has. The more Led's the device has the sharper image you will recieve. The devices also depend on the installation solution for instance the G2 is a desktop device whilst the Holo56 and up are either mounted or can be installed on a stand.
Can I pair up multiple devices?
This depends on the model the Holo70 and the HoloF100 have this compatability aswell as the HoloXG2. This allows multiple devices to splice the image to create a larger hologram. Our system supports 30 connected devices.
What are the shipping times?
We generally fulfill our orders within 24 hours and shipping times vary depending on location. For US customers and Australia the times are usually 5-7 days. Europe and Asia around 7 - 10 days. This depends on multiple factors.
